Isofix is a worldwide standard fitting system that optimises protection by providing a rigid connection between the child seat and the car. Once the Duo Isofix is correctly installed into one of a growing number of Isofix compatible cars, the chance of a slack installation is removed. Also, the Isofix installation method is so simple that the chances of incorrect installation are greatly reduced due to its simple push-click operation.

The most important benefit of Isofix is in a crash where the seat and its occupant immediately take part in the deceleration of the vehicle. Duo Isofix also has a patented "pivot" link which is designed to aid the limitation of head-forward movement.
