ADAC Car Seat Test Results 2017
The ADAC Spring 2017 Car Seat Test results are in! The ADAC has once again scoured the ever growing market of baby and child car seats to produce a detailed report to help you navigate the confusing world of car seats. The stringent test goes beyond standard safety regulations to determine how well the seat performs in a number of categories, including safety, ease of use and ergonomics. The ADAC’s wealth of knowledge understands that the ability to correctly fit the seat, the comfort of your child and ease of use are all equally as important as the safety of the car seat. This is why each category contributes to the overall score given by the ADAC.
To make things even easier for you, here at Baby & Co, we’ve evaluated the results and selected some of the winning seats from each category: infant carriers, extended rear facing, combination and high back booster seats and considered some of the best-selling brands including Cybex, Recaro, Britax and Kiddy to ensure you are making a well informed decision when buying your seat. All of the seats below have received at least a 'Good' rating from ADAC, menaing you can be safe in the knowledge that you are investing in the safety of your child.
Cybex Aton 5
Britax Romer Baby-Safe i-Size + i-Size Base
Recaro Zero.1 i-Size
Cybex Pallas M-Fix SL
Cybex Solution M-Fix SL
In a previous blog post, we analysed the Autumn 2016 Test Results. Many of the results from the previous test remain unbeaten and still prove to be a sure choice for your child. The Kiddy Evo-Luna i-Size is still the only car seat in the test to recieve a 'very good' rating, meaning it is one of the best choices in the infant carrier category with regard to safety and service. If you're looking for a high back booster, another trustworthy, high performing seat is the Britax Romer Kidfix II XP SICT, simple to use and fit with excellent results in crash tests.
