The Tian Elite has been designed with age in mind, meaning that from before your child's very first birthday, the Tian Elite can accompany them all the way up 12 years old. Tian Elite combines ergonomic design, intelligent functionality and a safety concept that only Recaro can provide to create a versatile car seat perfect for any child.

Suitable from 9 months all the way through to 12 years, the Tian Elite is designed to take your child comfortably from the time they are a toddler all the way up to when they are ready to move on from car seats. This means that after the newborn stage, the Tian Elite might be the only car seat your little one needs. Tian Elite is also lightweight, weighing just 8.4kg meaning that when you need to make a seating change it can be carried to and from the car with ease.

Tian Elite features an amazing integrated sound system that comes with an integrated loudspeaker in the head area of the child seat, an audio connection and a device pouch to give your child the most entertaining journey every time. Children can lean back and relax to music while their heads remain protected by the headrest.

Alongside this, the Tian Elite offers an air ventilation system to keep everyone happy. The openings in the outer shell and mesh inserts in the seat cover are designed to allow for continuous air circulation. Whether on a long trip down the motorway or just nipping to the local shops, the air ventilation system can help regulate your little one's temperature and keep them happy on every journey.

The Tian Elite features quick and simple universal installation in any vehicle using just the seat belt. This is aided by the red belt guide markings that are there to help make sure you have succeeded in installing the car seat correctly. When your child is ready to move from Group 1 to Group 2/3 the integrated harness storage allows for easy conversion meaning that you don't have to expand the harness system while the integrated Seatfix connectors help to ensure a secure fastening for your child.

During Group 1 the Tian Elite features an intuitive and central harness adjuster with HERO harness guide to enable your little one to be fastened to the seat securely and with ease. The Group 1 coated belt tongues are designed to protect your baby's sensitive skin from getting hurt during hot weather, preventing them from getting as hot as regular seat belt tongues can get in the summer. 

The patented HERO safety system comprises of a single unit that features shoulder pads, shoulder straps and a headrest that prevents the harness from twisting or slipping. It also helps to simplify the secure fastening process. Alongside the HERO safety system, the Tian Elite features Advanced Side Protection with deep protective side wings to absorb the force in the event of a side collision.

Tian Elite also includes an amazing adaptive backrest with adaptive seating foam that follows the contours of your vehicle's seats as well as your child's body shape to provide the highest level of comfortable seating for your little one. The adaptive backrest can also be height adjusted along with the headrest and even features an adjustable seating angle so that your child can remain comfortable in the car seat through every stage of their childhood.

Please note that some nursery furniture deliveries will be to the customer's door, this may exclude internal apartment doors.

All returns are processed through the retailer and not the manufacturer; please contact us regarding any after sales issues. We endeavour to offer an impartial returns procedure for the benefit of all parties. To enable us to process your claim as efficiently as possible please follow this procedure, failure to follow this procedure could result in delays in processing your claim or return.
 

In the first instance contact our returns department on 
returns@babyandco.com or write to us with the following information:

  • Order Number
  • Name (Person who placed the order)
  • Contact telephone number.
  • Date of Purchase
  • Faulty Item (Product description)
  • Details of Fault (Description of fault)
  • If possible digital photos could also be sent to help identify the problem.

We will then, depending on the issue, either contact you to discuss the matter further or issue you with a returns authorisation number. Please note returns sent back without a returns number may be refused or could result in delays in processing.

If it is felt that the goods need to be returned for inspection you will need to do the following.

  • Box the item ready for collection. It is wise to retain the original packaging for this purpose. Our shipping company will not collect items which are not properly packaged
  • Contact us at returns@babyandco.com to arrange collection. Please book your collection at least 2 days in advance and between Monday – Friday. Collections are usually made during the afternoon via Parcel Force. Please allow at least a 4 hour window when you will be available. If a collection is scheduled and you are not home as arranged you will be charged a £8.00 for the aborted collection
  • Please include your Returns Authorisation Number (RAN), proof of purchase and a description of the fault.

Please note we are unable to offer a loan or replacement product while your return is being inspected or repaired. Proof of purchase must accompany any warranty claim. Most nursery items come with a 6 months guarantee; however some products come with a 12 months guarantee. Check your instruction guide or warranty book for more information. This does not affect your statutory rights. If a fault develops within the guarantee period, we will arrange collection and inspection in our workshop. If the failure is confirmed to be due to a manufacturing fault we will arrange repair, or replacement if the repair in uneconomical.
If the fault is due to fair wear and tear, damage or misuse we will quote for a rectification and you will also be liable for the carriage charges, which are currently £18 per parcel*.
In the event of a dispute as to the cause of the failure the product will be sent to the manufacturer who will establish if the fault is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. 
In the event the manufacturer identifies the fault is due to fair wear and tear, damage or misuse you will be liable for all carriage costs and any repair costs if you wish the product to be repaired.
Our workshop will be happy to quote for any non-warranty repair. All returned product must be carefully packed in cardboard. It is wise to retain original cartons for this purpose. If a collection is scheduled and you are not home as arranged you will be charged £8.00 for the aborted collection.
