A rocking horse is often a toddler's first proper adventure, and the Mamas & Papas Frankie Rocking Horse is made for exactly that. Covered in soft brown faux fur with a contrasting cream mane, tail and hooves, he is a friendly nursery companion that little ones can climb aboard from 12 months. A hidden bell and a smooth, gentle rocking motion make every ride feel like a journey of its own.
Frankie Rocking Horse: Soft, Detailed and Built to Last
Frankie is crafted from durable fabrics that are wonderfully soft and tactile, so he is as inviting to stroke as he is to ride. The brown faux fur is finished with a cream mane and tail, while the face, hooves and bridle are detailed to give him a realistic, characterful look. Little hands will love running through his mane and discovering the hidden bell, which adds a lovely surprise to playtime. Because he is made for long-lasting comfort and play, Frankie copes happily with everyday adventures in the nursery, playroom or living room.
A Comfortable Ride With a Gentle Rock
A padded brown suedette saddle keeps young riders comfortable, and the seat height of approximately 33cm makes climbing aboard a manageable step for toddlers. Robust wooden rocking feet deliver a smooth and gentle motion that feels exciting without being too lively. Once assembled, Frankie measures W 60 x L 57 x D 29cm, so he is compact enough to sit happily in most family rooms without taking over the space.
Rocking Horse Play That Builds Balance and Confidence
Rocking is one of the simplest and most enjoyable ways for toddlers to practise balance and coordination. Climbing on, finding a rhythm and rocking back and forth all help to build confidence, and to a little one it simply feels like play. Imaginative games follow naturally, whether Frankie is carrying a rider to the farm, across the prairie or on a quiet trot around the living room. It is a classic, hands-on way to play that toddlers return to again and again.
A Nursery Classic Worth Keeping
Frankie is the kind of toy that stays in the family. Sturdy construction and timeless styling mean he can be handed down to younger siblings, cousins or the next generation, collecting memories along the way. Safety matters just as much as charm, and all Mamas & Papas products comply with the latest British and European safety standards and regulations. Adult assembly is required, and supervised play on flat, level ground keeps every ride safe and enjoyable.
