Baby and Infant Car Seats
Baby and Infant Car Seats are seats that have been specifically tailored to younger babies and newborns. By reclining or lying flat, with plush interiors or padded inlays, these car seats are designed to keep babies safe and comfy on their adventures with you. Mainly they face the rear of the car as it is the safest position for newborns and young babies.
Lie Flat Car Seats are pretty self-explanatory, they give babies a comfy journey whilst lying flat on their back. This is important for newborns and young babies as it's comfier, they have less restrictive harnesses, there is no lung compression and is in a much better position for babies' neck and back.
Our Toddler Car Seats are just that, they are made for group 1 and group 1/2/3. As these groups suit little ones that are 9 months to 4 years and then 9 months to 12 years, respectively. These can be forward or rear-facing depending on your preference.
Our extended rear-facing car seats are seats that allow a child to travel rear-facing for longer, approximately up to four years old. Many safety experts are asking parents to use ERF car seats much longer as it's the safest way to protect your baby if your car is involved in a head-on collision.
Our Swivel and Rotating Car Seats are your baby seats for your vehicle that have a 90° or 360° rotation. Getting baby in and out is a breeze with easy exit and entry for the child and simple harnessing for parents as the car seat spins towards the door for easy access. The twisting car seat spins from the base and is usually installed using ISOFIX connectors, meaning that despite the spinning base it is safe for the baby too.
Our i-Size Car Seats are the new R129 regulation Car Seats that were introduced in 2013. They use a new way of crash testing, including the side impact test. Rather than use the child's weight to decide on the correct size car seat, i-Size Seats are chosen based on your little one's height instead.
Combination Car Seats usually span the majority of childhood and are part of more than one sizing group. These Car Seats tend to be adjustable and adapt to your child as they grow, from 4 to 12 years old.
High-back booster seats are designed for children who have outgrown their forward-facing car seats but are not yet tall enough to safely travel in standard vehicle seats. The difference between high-back boosters and backless booster seats is the included back and headrest, which provides protection from head to hip, helping to absorb shock and impact away from your child in the event of a side-on collision.
Here at Baby and Co, as well as car seats and bases, we also stock a large volume of accessories for car seats. For example, car seat adaptors, mirrors, sun stoppers and cup holders. Shop all our car seat accessories here.
