Moving your child into a forward-facing seat is a real milestone, and the Cybex Anoris Si i-Size Airbag is designed to make it feel safe and simple. It suits children from around 15 months up to approximately 7 years, and it arrives together with a Base S, so you can fit it and get going. The integrated full body airbag builds on the technology of the ADAC test-winning Anoris T, giving parents a strong reason to feel confident about turning their child round.
Airbag Protection for Forward-Facing Travel
Cybex states that safety levels in a conventional forward-facing harness seat can be reduced by up to 50% compared with an airbag seat in a frontal crash, based on internal testing. The Anoris Si addresses this with a full body airbag built into the seat itself. Cybex also reports that ADAC has confirmed protection comparable to rear-facing seats for car seats of this type. The seat meets UN R129/04, which adds a further layer of reassurance for parents who want to see recognised safety standards.
Side Impact Protection That Sets Itself Up
Side collisions are a worry for any parent, and the Anoris Si includes advanced Linear Side-Impact Protection that extends automatically during unboxing, so that is one less thing to think about at installation. It channels crash energy into the seat's energy absorbing shell and headrest, and it can reduce impact forces by up to 25% compared with the same seat without it, based on Cybex internal testing. The materials are screened for harmful substances including heavy metals, phthalates and flame retardants, so you know what is against your child's skin.
Supplied with the Base S, Easy to Load
Because the Base S is included, the Anoris Si gives you a ready to use setup. Once it is fitted, the seat rotates 180° with one hand, so you can turn it towards the car door and place your child in from the side. Gentle side entry means less awkward lifting and less strain on your back, which is a real help when you are juggling bags or a busy morning routine. Please note that the Base S adapter is not included.
Room to Move and Eye Contact on Every Drive
Toddlers love to watch the world go by, and facing forward lets your child see out while staying in touch with you through the rear-view mirror. The seat is AGR certified for ergonomics and offers unlimited legroom, so growing legs have space to stretch on longer journeys. A depth adjustable impact shield keeps your child secure and comfortable while still allowing natural movement, and the secure buckle design stops small hands from opening it.
A Seat That Grows from Toddler to School Age
The Anoris Si suits children from 76cm to 125cm tall. You can adjust the 12 position headrest, 9 position impact shield and 3 recline settings as your child grows, so they keep a comfortable, healthy posture throughout the years. That makes it a practical choice for families who want one seat to cover the whole forward-facing stage.
