A nursery set that carries your child from the first night through to the first proper bed saves you from buying furniture twice. The Mamas & Papas Walton cotbed and dresser changer set gives you a safe place to sleep and a practical place to change your baby, all finished in a neutral white with modern shaker detail. Both pieces are designed to adapt as your child grows, so the furniture stays useful well beyond the baby years.
Mamas & Papas Walton Cotbed: Cot Today, Toddler Bed Tomorrow
The Walton cotbed is suitable from birth to around 18 months in cot mode, then converts into a toddler bed for children from around 18 months up to 4 years. In cot mode it measures 143.7 x 77.2 x 96cm, and in bed mode the height comes down to 62cm, which makes the move to a bed feel like a natural next step. It is designed for use with any Mamas & Papas cotbed mattress measuring 140 x 70 x 10cm. The frame is made from pine and engineered wood, and it meets EN 716:2017 and BS 8509:2008 + A1:2011.
A Dresser Changer That Outlasts the Nappy Years
The Walton dresser changer gives you a dedicated changing station for the first year, and it is suitable from birth to 11kg, which is around 12 months. Place any Mamas & Papas changing mat within the retaining rails and you have a secure, organised spot for nappy changes. Once your baby has outgrown changing, the top is removable, so you can keep the dresser as a smart piece of bedroom furniture for years to come. With the changer rails fitted it measures 89.2 x 57.2 x 94.3cm, and without them it measures 84.6 x 55 x 86.7cm, which is helpful to know when you are planning how it will sit next to the cotbed.
Timeless Style With Modern Shaker Detail
The neutral white finish and shaker detail give the set a clean, classic look that is easy to style. White works with soft pastels, natural wood tones and bolder colours alike, so you can update the room around the furniture as your child's tastes change. It is the kind of nursery set that looks right on day one and still looks right when your child is ready for a bigger bedroom.
Designed, Tested and Built to Last
Mamas & Papas designs and tests its furniture in-house, which means the practical extras come as standard rather than as optional upgrades. The dresser changer is made from engineered wood and meets EN 12221-1&2:2008 + A1:2013 and EN 14749:2016. Together with the convertible cotbed, that gives you two pieces that are built with longevity in mind, so a single purchase can cover several stages of your child's early life.
Planning Your Nursery Around Two Pieces
The cotbed and dresser changer work well as a pair because they cover different stages. The dresser changer handles the first year, then continues as a dresser, while the cotbed carries your child from birth through to around 4 years. Choosing them together as a set also means the finish, shaker detail and styling match, which takes the guesswork out of putting a nursery together.
