Production began in 2004 in a workshop in Cheddar, where the Superbike and Scrambler Balance Bikes became the first off of the production line. Since then, a wide variety of different models of bike have been recreated and transformed into wooden and metal Balance Bikes, perfect for children. In 2006 Kiddimoto were awarded Hamley's One of a Kind Toy of the Year accolade and were very much beginning to create quite a fan following. You may remember Kiddimoto from a 2011 episode of BBC's Dragons Den, where Simon Booth left the den with investment offers from two of the five Dragons. Since then Kiddimoto have received orders from all over the world and, in 2015, were awarded the Queen's Award for International Trade.
